अग्नि कुंड, देवकुंड मठ
देवकुंड धाम मठ में आश्रम के संस्थापक बाल पुरी जी की समाधि है। कहते हैं कि आज से करीब 600 वर्ष पूर्व आश्रम की स्थापना के समय हीं बाबा बालपुरी जी महाराज ने हरिद्वार के कनखल अखाड़ा के त्रियुगी कुंड से इस अग्नि को लेकर आये थे और ऐसे यहाँ स्थापित कर बहुत हीं कठीन साधना की थी। और अपनी अंतिम वक्त में और हवन करने के बाद इसी कुंड में जिंदा समाधि ले ली थी। तब से उस कुंड की अग्नि आज तक प्रज्वलित है। ऐसा नहीं है कि यहां हर रोज हवन होता है और ऊपर से देखने पर कुंड राख का ढेर लगता है लेकिन राख में थोड़ा हाथ डालेंगे तब आपको नीचे अग्नि का अहसास होगा। इसका भस्म लोग बाधा शांति हेतु ले जाते हैं।

The Devkund Dham Math houses the samadhi of the ashram's founder, Balpuri Ji. It is said that at the ashram's inception, some 600 years ago, Baba Balpuri Ji Maharaj brought this fire from the Triyugi Kund of the Kankhal Akhara in Haridwar, established it there, and performed rigorous meditation. In his final moments, after performing a havan (sacred fire ritual), he attained samadhi (sacred samadhi) in this very kund. The fire in that kund has remained burning ever since. It's not that havans are performed here every day, and from above, the kund appears to be a pile of ashes. However, if you dip your hand into the ashes, you can feel the fire beneath. People take its ashes for peace.
